Software Engineering labratory
Laboratory (SEL) has available
to its research community an assortment of computing
and networking resources. Research is supported
by a cluster of INTEL and SPARC workstations and
servers. A wireless network in the lab provides
connectivity and allows laptop computers to access
from anywhere in the building.
Major Equipment
Research in SEL is supported by a wide variety of
software including SQL server, Design/CPN (Petri
nets tools), and some industry-strength software
engineering tools such as Telelogic¡¯s DOORS and
SYNERGY. Current hardware in the lab includes the
following:
- 1 Dell PowerEdge 2500 Server, dual-processor
with 1G RAM and RAID storage
- 2 Sun Blade 2000, 64-bit RISC Sun servers

The SEL has its own Library. The library contains
a high volume of books, journals, and periodicals
in the field of Software Engineering since 1980
up until now. It has a priceless collection
of papers, dissertations, theses, technical reports,
and software systems contributed by former researchers
and graduate students. The University's Library,
